Our History

VIVID Landscape & Lighting (originally named LMN Landscape) was founded by Steve Luckett in 2000 as a landscape company. During Steve’s time as the owner of LMN Landscape, he grew the family business throughout the Evansville area and passed his passions onto his sons, Nick and Matt. Steve made sure to involve and give his sons the opportunity to immerse themselves into the landscape industry as they were growing up. In 2015 the brothers took ownership of the business and they had a vision of how they could add even more value to their clients. Being a small family-owned business, they wanted to focus on specializing in custom landscape venues while showcasing with outdoor lighting. With this addition came the decision to rebrand and change the business name to VIVID Landscape & Lighting, same family company, but now offer the complete backyard experience. Steve has been the backbone of support for the brothers and while having a wealth of knowledge in plant material, he offers more than 30 years experience in the landscape industry. In addition to this, Nick and Matt share more than 20 years of collective landscape experience. While growing up with their father in the landscape industry, the brothers have really developed a genuine love for what they do and hope to spread that passion with their clients.
